Description:

This is the only U. S. native Tillandsia that is not also found in Florida. Occuring in Texas thru Nicaragua, this species forms huge clusters with wiry silvery-green leaves and acorn-sized pseudobulbs. The inflorescence is a simple pink spike with purple flowers.

Very easy to grow and propagate becoming large multi-plant clusters in a few seasons.

These are 3-5 inch tall plants.
